Rosie Glazebrook, Chief Executive of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), met with the Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy, Government of Telangana during her recent trip to India.
Telangana, a state in southern India, was formed in 2014, with Hyderabad as its capital. Known for its rich history, culture, and rapid IT industry growth, Telangana plays a key role in India’s economy.
Glazebrook outlined CWEIC’s initiatives aimed at enhancing trade and investment among the 56 Commonwealth nations, with a particular focus on supporting SMEs and startups to scale and grow.She also conveyed CWEIC’s strong interest in partnering with Telangana as a strategic partner, recognising the region’s potential for collaboration. The Chief Minister shared his vision and highlighted key government initiatives, including the Musi River Development project.
