Ahmed Inaz is a seasoned expert in Risk Management, Loss Adjusting, Surveying, and Logistics, with over two decades of experience, primarily within the insurance and surveying industries. He is the founder and Managing Director of Accord Insurance Brokers Maldives Pvt Ltd (AIB), a leading insurance brokerage firm specialising in managing insurances of high-end resort properties across the Maldives. Under his leadership, AIB has become the exclusive correspondent for Marsh, the world’s largest insurance broker, handling insurance portfolios for prestigious international hotels like Shangri-La, Marriott, Hilton, and others.

Inaz’s career is marked by an extensive background in loss adjusting and surveying. Before fully committing into the works of AIB, he was the sole proprietor of Independent Surveyors Maldives, where he played a key role in delivering critical assignments such as asset valuations, pre-insurance condition surveys, and loss adjustment surveys for major banks and insurance companies, both locally and globally. His technical expertise was also recognised when he served as a lead consultant for the Waste Management Corporation of the Maldives, overseeing the construction of landing crafts in India.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Inaz has contributed to the academic field by teaching maritime-related courses at the Centre for Maritime Studies at the Maldives National University, sharing his knowledge on ship construction and marine operations. His professional qualifications include a Diploma in Marine Surveying (with Distinction) from Lloyds Maritime Academy, a Ship Master (Unlimited Tonnage) certificate, a loss adjusting certificate from the Malaysian Insurance Institute and Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK.
