On the side lines of the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit (CTIS), CWEIC Chairman Lord Marland was pleased to meet with Aliko Dangote, GCON, President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, during a special occasion celebrating Jim Ovia’s Freedom of the City of London ceremony. Dangote Industries is a Strategic Partner of CWEIC.

Mr Dangote, widely regarded as Africa’s most influential industrialist, leads one of the continent’s largest and most diversified conglomerates, with interests spanning cement, sugar, salt, fertiliser, oil refining, and infrastructure. His presence in London during CTIS highlighted the vital role that leading Commonwealth business figures play in advancing regional industrialisation, trade, and investment.
