Nicholas Nyamali is the Founder and Group CEO of Investment One Group. He is an investment banker and investment manager with a passion for the development of African SMEs and entrepreneurs. Prior to founding the company, he worked as a Consultant with McKinsey & Company, U.K. and South Africa. Before that, he worked in the legal, corporate finance and corporate banking roles in Guaranty Trust Bank PLC, a leading commercial bank in Nigeria.

Nicholas is a graduate of Law from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He holds Masters’ degrees in law (LL.M) and Economics (M.Sc) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria as well as an MBA from the London Business School. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK. In 2021, he was awarded the Investment CEO of the Year by the BusinessDay Newspaper’s Bank and Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.
