Lord Marland, Chairman of CWEIC, commenced his three week trip to Africa where he will visit Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya.

He joined Kwaku Nhyira-Addo, host of the Asaase 99.5 Breakfast show to discuss his trip, renewable energy, and how free trade and the AfCFTA can support Africa’s development and business growth.

Commenting on the landmark agreement, Lord Marland said “the AfCFTA is exactly what is needed and will be hugely beneficial to the continent’s development… being able to trade among each other will be a game changer and the Commonwealth recognises this”.
