During a recent trip to Colombo, CWEIC CEO Rosie Glazebrook, accompanied by Niro Cooke, CWEIC Chair for Sri Lanka & Maldives, met with the newly appointed British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Mr Andrew Patrick.

Their meeting focused on leveraging mutual strengths in trade and investment. Following a tumultuous period of economic uncertainty, the Sri Lankan economy is stabilising and we look forward to supporting Sri Lanka in accessing Commonwealth opportunities and establishing links to bring the Commonwealth’s resources and benefits directly to Sri Lanka.

Lord Marland, CWEIC Chair, will be visiting Colombo in February to explore further avenues for collaboration.
