Rosie Glazebrook, CEO of CWEIC, along with former Governor of Gibraltar and current CWEIC Gibraltar Chair, Ed Davis, made a visit to Gibraltar to engage with HM Government of Gibraltar, key Strategic Partners, and senior business leaders.

Rosie Glazebrook was delighted to be able to meet with The Hon Minister Santos, Minister Arias-Vasquez and Minister Feetham, in what strongly highlights our continued efforts and commitment to promote and nurture Gibraltar-Commonwealth opportunities.

Her Worship the Mayor of Gibraltar kindly hosted a welcome reception for CWEIC at the Mayor’s Parlour, where Her Worship the Mayor and Rosie both took to highlight the importance of the Commonwealth and the opportunities that exist across the 56 nations.

In what was a busy visit, Rosie Glazebrook also co-chaired the Gibraltar Commonwealth Advisory Forum (CAF) and the Strategic Partners Delivery Group (SPDG).

Commenting on the visit, Rosie said: “‘I am very excited to be in Gibraltar to meet with the Government of Gibraltar, our local Strategic Partners and the wider business community. From the inauguration of our CWEIC Gibraltar Office in 2021, it has been our aim to promote Gibraltar-Commonwealth business links and my visit serves as a valuable opportunity to strengthen our efforts and develop future opportunities.”

This visit marks the first CWEIC event of 2024 and was organised by our CWEIC Gibraltar Country Director, Jared Peralta.
