The Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) delegation led by Lord Swire was delighted to be hosted by Invest in Gabon (ANPI-Gabon).
The CWEIC delegation was welcomed by Aimé-Popa N’tzoutsi Mouyama, Chairman of ANPI-Gabon, with the goal of collaboratively exploring business opportunities to boost the Gabonese economy, leveraging Gabon’s affiliation with the Commonwealth. Lord Swire underscored key development hubs and factors that contribute to Gabon’s favourable business climate, including investment security, global openness, and sector-specific incentives. Additionally, he emphasised the benefits of CWEIC, stating, “The 56 Commonwealth members are experiencing faster growth than other countries”.
The meeting with CWEIC was attended by Stéphane Mbadinga Ditengou, Managing Director of the Fonds Gabonais d’Investissements Stratégiques (FGIS) (Gabonese Fund for Strategic Investments), as well as, Danielle Biwaou, Managing Director of the Gabonese Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from the Fédération des Entreprises du Gabon .
