The Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council Featured in the London Business Matters Magazine. The Magazine is the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) bi-monthly magazine. The popular publication includes expert advice, international trade insight, business trends and industry updates.

In this May / June 2024 edition, Lord Marland shares his thoughts on the influence of the Commonwealth in business dialogues and in charting the future of investment. He highlights the importance of expanding financial literacy and increasing access to finance for developing markets. He also calls attention to the rising significance of climate finance and the role of the private sector in supporting it.

Commenting on the importance of involving the private sector he writes: “More and more, policymakers are beginning to recognise that the private sector will need to play a role in financing the enormous costs associated with climate-resilient infrastructure and the global energy transition”.
