As one of the first CWEIC engagements of 2020, Lord Marland visited Kuala Lumpur to meet government leaders, members and businesses that would be interested in exploring Commonwealth opportunities.

During the visit, supported by CWEIC Country Director for Malaysia Farouk Nurish, Lord Marland met with Strategic Partners including Sime Darby Property, Malaysia’s biggest property developer in terms of land bank, the Petra Group and PEMANDU Associates. He also called on H.E. Mridul Kumar (High Commissioner of India to Malaysia), H.E. Charles Hay (High Commissioner of The UK to Malaysia).

CWEIC looks forward to expanding and deepening our links with Malaysia over the coming year, and continuing our work in promoting Malaysian businesses across the Commonwealth.
