In an occasion symbolising growing ties, a delegation from the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) had the privilege of meeting with Gabon’s Prime Minister, His Excellency, Raymond Ndong Sima in Libreville. Led by Lord Swire, Deputy Chair for CWEIC, the delegation discussed avenues for enhanced economic collaboration. Accompanying Lord Swire from CWEIC were Cham Etinenne Bama, Director for the Cameroon, Gabon, and Togo, as well as Pride Azefor, Director for Strategic Partnerships.

The meeting, held at the presidential palace, showcased mutual enthusiasm for strengthening trade, investment, and private sector engagement. Lord Swire highlighted CWEIC’s commitment to facilitating partnerships across the Commonwealth, aligning with Gabon’s vision for regional economic growth.

The Prime Minister reciprocated the sentiment, expressing Gabon’s eagerness to leverage its resources and expertise for shared prosperity. The discussions concluded with a shared commitment to fostering a robust partnership for sustainable development.
