At the invitation of the Republic of Gabon, the first Global Advisory Council (GAC) meeting of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) Hub for the Central African sub region was held on 23 – 24 April 2024 in Libreville, Gabon.

Strategic Partners from Cameroon, India, Rwanda and the United Kingdom attended the event. The GAC in Gabon was co-chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Gabon represented by the Minister of State Accounts, Honourable Charles MBA, Lord Swire, Deputy Chair, CWEIC, and the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth (MINDELCOM), H.E. Felix Mbayu.
