Lord Marland and CWEIC Team Attend Tree Planting Ceremony for Queen Elizabeth II Royal Mail Woodland

Lord Marland, Chairman of CWEIC, attended the Royal Mail Woodland tree planting ceremony near Warrington during Commonwealth Week. The Queen Elizabeth II Royal Mail Woodland is a 9 hectare newly planted woodland for and on behalf of the Queen’s Green Canopy. The Royal Mail Woodland is a dedicated forest initiative designed to support biodiversity, carbon capture, and sustainable land management.
Royal Mail are once of CWEIC’s longstanding partners, we are proud to have partnered with Royal Mail across many programmes and themes, including supporting Commonwealth SME’s explore new markets, through the CommonwealthFirst initiative.
CWEIC has worked with Royal Mail to support supply chain strengthening across the Commonwealth, especially throughout the COVID pandemic. We were also honoured to work with Royal Mail to support the Queens Batton Relay ahead of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
Royal Mail is a great champion of the Commonwealth and we look forward to working with them for many years to come.
