Leading UK law firm Irwin Mitchell has been named ‘Employment Law Firm of the Year’ at the Personnel Today awards. Organised by the leading HR trade magazine, the awards are now in their 24th year and celebrate the very best achievements and innovations in HR. The Personnel Today judging panel named Irwin Mitchell as the ‘Employment Law Firm of the Year’ after being impressed by the team’s many achievements and said its thoughtful solutions to support clients through challenges have had a material impact on their ability to navigate difficult times.

Irwin Mitchell’s Employment team has more than 70 lawyers and during the last 12 months has launched a number of client-focussed campaigns. These include supporting businesses with dealing with the menopause, and the launch of its ‘back to basic’ training modules. Irwin Mitchell recently announced the arrival of two new employment law partners. In July, Helen Kidd joined Irwin Mitchell from Knights and Consumer sector expert, Charlotte Rees-John, joined in October from Freeths.
